got the case in, it looked ok but a little lite, was large enough for my AR-10. put it under the bed. the second time I brought the case out to show someone my gun the lock wouldn't close. was cheaply constructed out of pot metal, the kind used for childrens small metel toys. well the lock just came apart and I was unable to reassemble it to work. had 1 month before one of 4 locks broke.

I used this case to protect my rifles while hunting in Alaska. It stood up to the airline baggage handlers as well as protected my rifles while bouncing across 4" swells in a jon boat across the bay. I was concerned about the salt but at the end of the trip, all was good. The case served better than ever expected.
