Purchased for son's dorm room. Some sort of security device was suggested by Dean and this is perfect. My son, who is extremely self effacing, did not find this at all ostentatious.

This safe is perfect for home use. We store important papers and jewelry in it. We made a steel shelf for it and both are bolted into our basement wall. Like the key override feature. I don't know why I didn't get a home safe before this.
