The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

The interior carpet has an adhesive applied to make it stick to surfaces.Strong off-gassing was present inside the safe and we kept it in the garage for about a month with the safe door wide open to get as much of the odor out of the safe interior before moving it inside our home.Otherwise we are quite happy with the new safe.One last comment-The large safe came in a cardboard box with only minimum protection provived for its long journey to Ca. May I suggest that you better box this item before shipping. My safe arrived fine but the box was in bad shape.

The sentry D888 Executive safe is just that. Executive looking. You want to leave out so everyone can see it & be impressed. But thats not what a safe is for. I do not know how well it protects valuables because no one has tried to break into it. I hope no one ever does. The one flaw it has is that light reflecs off the dial making it a little hard to read the numbers but the brilliant gold dial & handle are make it so impressive.
