I have the 1. 2 cu.ft digital safe . In the near future , it should be listed with it's standardized U. L . security rating for breach/impact resistance , right along with all of the other safes specifications , if it has a rating. That is one of the most important spec ratings to making better choices in comparing other safes of the same price/value range. That rating is not to be taken for granted .The purpose of a safe is to prevent unauthorized access even under prolonged high impact , and not just fire and water. As this safe is relatively light at only about 90 lbs empty , it still has enough room for me to add supplemental weights to prevent it from being easily "carried off" as there are no provisions for bolting it to anything. I already had a model 2087 which is the smaller version of this 2092D ,that can be used inside my apartment refrig for protecting valuable perishables. The emergency key back-up entry is a welcome improvement over the all electronic access of my early version 2087

Feddex did NOt bringthe safe all he way to my apartment door step as I feel they should have done.This safe was only about 90 lbs ,which is why , I guess you selected them. But to my utter surprise , they had no intentions of bring it up to my door as was obviously apparent when they sent a single person (a small statured female, ) who was not able to bring it up the stairs.So then ,I had to do it by myself.I'm sure they planned it that way....I'm surprised that Fedex would be so unprofessional too! You need to make the delivery policy clear with whatever freight carrier selected, as they should be properly equiped and manned to PROPERLY deliver ,as expected, there cargo to it's designated residents without excuses and dodges . Because of that incident, I would think twice before I order another safe from your website, as well as refering you to fellow neighbors .

No complaints about this safe at all. It does the job. And about the plastic handle. Well there's cheap plastic and plastic. I don't consider this cheap and guess it would take a lot to break it - if you attempted to do so.
