Gardall's firelined pistol safes are designed to protect a number of firearms and keep them from falling into the wrong hands. There are three layers of five eighths of an inch Underwriters' Laboratories listed fireboard in each side and top with two layers in the base, door, and back wall of the safe. The interior of these safes is able to stay below 350 degrees Fahrenheit for at least thirty minutes in an environment at 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.

- One eighth of an inch of cold rolled steel with metal steel liner welded to the interior
- Underwriters' Laboratories Group II combination lock with 1,000,000 possible combinations comes standard with the option of a Group II electronic lock instead
- Independent re-locking device in addition to re-locker in lock as well as a hard plate in front of lock for additional protection
- Four 1" chrome plated bolts with a 1.25" throw behind the doorjamb
- Shear point handle is designed to break off flush to the door if there is an attempt to force entry by pulling
- Full length locking bar on hinged side to further prevent forced entry
- Four anchoring holes drilled in the base to secure it to the floor
- Carpeted interior with adjustable shelf
- Covered by Gardall's limited one-year warranty
