The Medallion Premium Safe sets the standard for value and protection for both your valuables and your family. No curious children or intruders will be able to break through the chromed 1 1/4" steel locking bolts, 10-gauge steel body, or 1 5/16" thick Duo-Formed door protected by the Uni-Force Locking System. Browning also ensures that their safes are measured up to the highest possible standard in fire resistance, with the M28F providing protection for up to 90 minutes in 1200°F. With baked-on high gloss or rugged textured finishes available in a variety of colors and metallic detailing, it is a beautiful piece of work that is sure to look wonderful in any home. With the versatile Duo-Plus carpeted interior, the Medallion Series Premium Safe M28F has a capacity of 11 guns when the shelves are installed and 22 when the shelves are converted. Medallion Series Premium Safe Features
	FIRE/SECURITY RATINGS Fire/Security Rating – The “F” indicates fire protection and the “S” indicates security level. Higher numbers mean better protection.		BODY THICKNESS Heavy 10-gauge steel body. A smaller gauge number indicates thicker steel, which provides more security than thinner steel. Browning's thickest safe body is 3/16" (on Platinum Plus safes) and this specification is not shown in gauge measurement.
	DUO-FORMED DOOR Browning's best safe door, formed from multiple layers of steel, carefully formed together to provide superior strength, pry-resistance and attack protection. Door face is 1 5/16" thick.		UNI-FORCE LOCKING SYSTEM Browning's best locking mechanism uses robust cam locks and a large, multiple diversion bar system to prevent bolt or handle pressure from reaching the lock.
	OMNIBARRIER LOCK PROTECTION SYSTEM A carefully engineered structure of steel hardplate and steel components designed to protect the safe lock from drill, punch, and push attacks.		LOCKING BOLTS Chromed 1 1/4" diameter rugged steel bars that move behind the door frame to actually hold the safe door locked and closed. Bigger bolts, and more of them, provide greater security.
	REINFORCED DOOR FRAME The door frame of the safe, strengthened by U-Shaped steel channels, is welded around the entire perimeter to create added pry and attack resistance.		180° HEAVY DUTY HINGES Rugged hinges are machined from solid steel bar stock for strength. The hinges allow the door to swing open 180° for unhindered access to the safe interior.
	DUO-PLUS INTERIOR Browning/ProSteel's patent pending safe interior that increases long gun capacity and makes all of the long guns easier to access using an innovative door-mounted long gun rack.		UL SECURITY CONTAINER RATING The industry standard test and rating for home/personal safes. Requires minimum construction specifications and passing a laboratory attack test. Premium Browning/ProSteel safes far exceed the minimum requirements for the UL Residential Security (Tool Attack) listing.
	FIRE RATING A laboratory measurement of time and temperature (in Fahrenheit) used to compare the relative amount of fire resistance provided by a safe. A Browning/Prosteel safe with a longer fire rating time provides more fire protection than a safe with a shorter time.

This safe is too heavy/large to ship via the small package delivery services (e.g. UPS, FedEx) so it will be sent to you via white glove freight delivery. White glove freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that the carrier takes a larger part in making sure the product you are purchasing makes it safely off of their truck.

White Glove Freight Service Levels

There are 2 different levels of service that we offer with our safes that use white glove (safes) freight: White Glove Bronze and White Glove Gold. Please read the service descriptions below to determine which level is best for your needs.

White Glove Bronze
Bronze service level provides two-man delivery to inside the threshold of your residence. If you live in a home with a garage this means the product will be left in your garage. If you do not have a garage the product will be left in your front entrance, or mudroom. Anyone in an apartment or condo is going to need White Glove Gold.

White Glove Gold
Gold service level provides two-man delivery to inside your residence to the room you choose. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights please contact us*. Once the product is in the room you desire, the shipper will unpack the product and provide basic setup that requires no tools (i.e. will set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other). The shipper will also remove and dispose of all packaging.
