FIRE/SECURITY RATINGS Fire/Security Rating – The “F” indicates fire protection and the “S” indicates security level. Higher numbers mean better protection. |

BODY THICKNESS Heavy 12-gauge steel body. A smaller gauge number indicates thicker steel, which provides more security than thinner steel. Browning's thickest safe body is 3/16" (on Platinum Plus safes) and this specification is not shown in gauge measurement. |

Kept in a moist basement, it allows moisture free passage. Dehumidifiers need to be "recharged" every few days. Lock and turnstyle have alot of play...give the impression of flimsiness, though actually quite secure.
