TL-30 Fire Rated Composite Safes Features:

Door:
- Overall thickness of 5.75" and is constructed with a 2.75" defense barrier of outer and inner steel plates creating a single structure enclosing a unique, high density fire and burglary resistant composite material
- Defense barrier houses a proprietary amalgamation of nuggets and steel fibers to withstand concentrated attacks with the most sophisticated equipment used by burglars today
- Massive solid steel hard plate covering the entire door
Body:
- The Amvault formed body has a total protective thickness of 3.5" enclosing a high density fire resistant composite material with nuggets and steel fibers
- A reinforced drill resistant door frame protects the door and each individual bolt chamber from severe side attacks
- A proprietary inner barrier protects against peeling attacks
- High strength adjustable shelves
Fire Endurance:
- Two hour, 350°F factory fire rating
- Tested at temperatures up to 1850°F
Locking Mechanism:
- Equipped with six to ten massive 1.5" diameter chrome plated solid steel locking bolts. Each bolt moves deep into the body's protected bolt chambers
- Entire boltwork mechanism is also protected by a spring operated boltwork detent system. Bolts stay in the retracted position when the door is opened and automatically engage when the door is closed
- Safes can be equipped with a three way active boltwork mechanism engaging the bolts horizontally and vertically into the body of the safe
- Three-way boltwork option for selected models
Locks:
- Equipped with a U.L. listed Group II key changeable combination lock
- The lock is protected by a massive drill shattering hard plate and two additional spring- loaded devices
Optional Auxiliary Key Lock:
- U.L. listed, high security auxiliary key lock is also available on all AMVAULT safes (except 21" W model)
- Lock is equipped with 2 keys and escutcheon plate.
- An additional spring-loaded relock device protecting lock against punch attacks.

Operating Instructions For ESL20

Aux. Battery Pack for ESL XL Locks
Provides extended life on battery power for both ESL10XL and ESL20XL locks. One pack is required per lock. Battery pack mounts near lock on the inside of the safe door. (6 C-cell batteries not included in retrofit kit).

AMSEC:

AMSEC began in the late 1940’s in a small building in Paramount, California, where founder Glenn Hall set up shop with little more than a welder, a lathe, and a desire to build strong safes. Later, AMSEC pioneered the production of round door vaults, which served as the industry standard for decades. While offering excellent security, they were very expensive to manufacture. AMSEC was the first domestic company to obtain Underwriters Laboratories’ coveted TL15 and TL30 Burglary rating on a high security composite safe. Delivery Instructions

This safe will be delivered by a white glove freight carrier to ensure the safest and most convenient delivery. Please note:

A white glove delivery team consists of at least two people so you will not be burdened with carrying your safe from the back of the truck to your home.

Once your order arrives in your area, a representative from the white glove carrier will call you to arrange a 4 hour window for delivery.

You must inspect your package at the time of delivery. If the product has any damage or if you are concerned there may be damage, please write "Product Damaged" on the sheet you are asked to sign. This ensures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to resolve the problem.

Delivery Service Options

We offer 2 levels of service for this safe: Bronze and Gold. Bronze is your default shipping method; if you wish to upgrade to Gold you may do so during checkout. Please read the service descriptions below to determine which level is best for your needs.

White Glove Bronze (default)

Delivery to: Inside the threshold of your residence. If you live in a home with a garage, the product will be left in your garage. If you do not have a garage, the product will be left in your front entrance. The product will not be carried up stairs. If you live in an apartment above the first floor of a building, we recommend upgrading to Gold.
Assembly Service: None
Packaging: The product will be left in the original packaging.

White Glove Gold

Delivery to: Inside your residence to the room you choose. This includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights, please contact us*.
Assembly Service: The shipper will unpack the product and provide basic setup that requires no tools (i.e. set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other).
Packaging: The shipper will remove and dispose of all packaging.

*In all cases the shipper will not hook up any electrical or component wires. Having items carried up more than 25 steps and longer assembly periods are available as additional services which would require additional charges. Please contact us if you feel you need these services.
